The 'Single-Use Products Zero Challenge,' a nationwide relay campaign initiated by the Ministry of Environment in February last year, proceeds by participants posting photos or other content signifying their commitment to reduce single-use product usage to zero and nominating the next participant. CEO Kim plans not only to encourage reducing single-use products but also to link this with another ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) campaign?blood donation?by providing tumblers to employees participating in the company's blood donation campaign.

CEO Kim said, “This challenge was prepared to help alleviate the global social issue of plastic waste and the difficulties faced by medical staff and patients suffering from blood shortages, even if only a little. We will strive to internalize and practice ESG so that both myself and all employees can actively engage in social issues, not just make a one-time declaration.”

SK Plasma, a specialist in blood products, regularly conducts blood donation campaigns more than three times a year together with its affiliates. The company also leads efforts to foster an eco-friendly corporate culture by encouraging the use of tumblers and reusable cups in the in-house caf?.

CEO Kim Seung-joo nominated Kim Hoon-taek, CEO of Tium Bio, as the next participant.
