Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 21st that it has selected 18 service engineers who received the highest customer evaluations last year as 'CS Masters.'
Among 5,500 service engineers, the top 30% with outstanding repair technical skills were first shortlisted, and then the top 0.3% (18 people) with the highest customer satisfaction scores were finally selected. By product category, there are 7 in mobile phones, 10 in home appliances, and 1 in business-to-business (B2B) services.
Three engineers, including mobile phone engineers Kim Kyung-min (Suwon, Gyeonggi Province) and Park Sun-young (Sacheon, Gyeongnam Province), and home appliance field service engineer Jung Go-seok (Geochang, Gyeongnam Province), were selected as CS Masters for four consecutive years. Engineer Jung achieved a '2023 National Customer Satisfaction No. 1' by receiving a perfect score of 100 from all 373 customers who responded to the satisfaction survey.
Employees selected as CS Masters receive benefits such as personnel evaluation points, plaques, and benchmarking visits to overseas CS excellence companies.
Since the first selection in 2019, only 71 engineers, accounting for 1.2% of all engineers, have been selected as CS Masters, and Samsung Electronics Service reported that customer satisfaction with service quality has improved by more than 14% since the selection began.
Song Bong-seop, Vice President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Service, said, "We will continue to work with our employees to provide differentiated service experiences and value to our customers."
