248 Donations Over 20 Years... Mr. Dotaejun's 'Final Blood Donation in His Life'

The Korean Red Cross Gyeongnam Blood Center held a blood donation retirement ceremony to commemorate Mr. Do Tae-jun's final blood donation in his lifetime.


Mr. Do, who first participated in the "sting of sharing life" in 2003, has donated blood a total of 248 times to date.


On the 17th, the Blood Center expressed gratitude to Mr. Do, who reached the first blood donation retirement in Gyeongnam this year, at the Blood Donation House Gyeongnam University Center.

On that day, Mr. Do said, "After making my final blood donation in my lifetime, I feel proud but also deeply regret that I can no longer participate," adding, "Through blood donation, I was able to regularly check my health and help those who are ill."


He added, "I feel proud to be part of the meaningful act of sharing life," and "I hope more people will participate in blood donation."


Blood donation is allowed up to the age of 64, and if one has blood donation experience between ages 60 and 64, it is possible up to age 69.
