In the fields of veterans affairs, welfare, education, and health, the monthly Vietnam War veteran honorarium will be increased by 20,000 won. As a population growth policy, a marriage congratulatory fund support project has been newly established, providing 2 million won to couples aged 19 to 49 residing in the area (based on the marriage registration date). The First Meeting Voucher support has also been expanded; while previously 2 million won was given per newborn child, from this year, 3 million won will be provided for the second child and beyond.

To reduce childcare burdens, the following measures will be promoted: ▲Increase in parental allowance support ▲Support for necessary expenses for children aged 4 to 5 attending daycare centers ▲Expansion of welfare benefits for single-parent family support projects.

In the culture, tourism, and sports sector, support will be expanded in cultural and sports areas through programs such as ▲Cultural Nuri Card (Integrated Cultural Voucher) ▲Sports Lecture Use Voucher ▲Disabled Sports Lecture Use Voucher, which is expected to help citizens enjoy cultural life.

In the agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and forestry sector, a notable point in Goseong-gun’s core industry, agriculture, is the expansion of the age eligibility for the Youth Farmer Support Project from 45 to under 50 years old.

Additionally, the market for beef cows will be fostered, and the voucher support amount for female farmers will be increased.

In the fisheries sector, a route connecting Jaran-do in Ha-il-myeon to Impo Port will begin operation three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), twice daily (9 a.m. and 4 p.m.), securing maritime transportation rights for isolated islands.
