The Buk-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 17th that it has appointed legislative and legal advisors to respond to the increasingly complex administrative environment.
The council operates an advisory system as the need for ordinance enactment and revision, legal interpretation, and professional legal review related to the changing and complex administrative environment has increased.
Legislative advisor Professor Choi Minsu (Cooperative Local Government Research Institute) and legal advisor Lawyer Kim Seongjin (Gwangju Bar Association) were appointed respectively.
Based on their expertise and experience in their respective fields for two years, the two will provide consultation on legislative and legal matters and policies arising in the council, as well as handle litigation cases.
