Gangbuk-gu to Hold New Parent Education for Elementary, Middle, and High School Admissions in 2024

Parent Education for February 2-3 Entrance Preparation... First-Come, First-Served Registration Open... Live School Adaptation Tips and Study Methods from Current Teachers

Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) will hold the 'New Parent Education' for preparing for elementary, middle, and high school admissions in 2024 on February 2-3 at the Planning Situation Room on the 3rd floor of Gangbuk-gu Office.

The Gangbuk-gu New Parent Education is part of parent capacity-building education and is held by inviting active teachers to provide practical help for parents with children entering elementary, middle, and high school who feel anxiety and concerns during this educational transition period.

Among this education, the elementary school new parent education will be conducted by teacher Ha Yoo-jung, author of "Exciting Preparation for 1st Grade Elementary School" and operator of the YouTube channel "Eodideun School." The middle school new parent education will be led by teacher Kim Soo-rin, author of "Wise Preparation for Middle School Admission" and a 18-year veteran middle school teacher. The high school new parent education will be conducted by teacher Choi Won-yong, author of "High School Parent Life" and a current teacher with 20 years of experience.

Pre-registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis from January 22 to 31 through the integrated reservation system on the Gangbuk-gu website.

Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, stated, "Through the first-ever new parent education for elementary, middle, and high school admissions held in Gangbuk-gu, we hope to ease the worries of parents sending their children to higher schools and help students adapt stably to school life."
