Diverse Activities Including Resource Survey, Care, and Landscape Improvement
Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will actively promote the Village Community Activity Support Project and the Eutteum Village Making Project, which breathe warm vitality into villages and communities, again this year.
According to the county on the 16th, the Village Community Activity Support Project is a program that supports residents in creating self-reliant village communities by solving problems within the village on their own.
Support is available for resident groups or organizations with five or more members, and funding ranges from 5 million to 20 million KRW depending on the stage and type, including the Seed-Sprout-Fruit stages of the Gonggi Bitkkal Project and care communities.
In particular, this year, support for learning in small-scale communities during the Seed stage and the Happiness Dream Care Community support for building a self-sustaining local social safety net will be significantly expanded.

Learning support for small-scale communities will receive 2 million KRW, and Happiness Dream Care Community support will receive 10 million KRW.
This year, Haenam-gun plans to provide community activity support to a total of 66 locations.
The Clean Jeonnam & Haenam Eutteum Village Making Project is a program that manages the village's clean resources and carries out village beautification led by residents, with operating expenses of 5 million KRW per village provided for three years.
Haenam-gun has promoted the most exemplary Eutteum Village Making Project in the province, with about 50 new villages participating in the project every year, and last year it received the Grand Prize in the Jeollanam-do Clean Jeonnam Eutteum Village Making Project.
This year, continuous support will be provided to 113 villages in their 2nd to 3rd years, and about 50 new villages in their 1st year will be discovered and supported.
In particular, various detailed projects linked to Haenam-type ESG, including village beautification such as flower bed creation and mural painting, will be supported, and incentives will be provided through consulting.
The application deadline for the Village Community Project is until the 26th of the month, and for the Eutteum Village Project, it is until the 31st.

A county official said, “As community projects have become more active, we strongly feel that the community spirit of Haenam residents has increased,” and added, “We will make further efforts to discover and expand community projects that bring vitality to residents and villages.”
Meanwhile, last year in Haenam-gun, community projects were carried out at 229 locations through the Village Community and Eutteum Village projects.
