Shinsegae Casa announced on the 16th that it has launched the leather version of Casamia's fabric sofa 'Campo,' called 'Campo Leather.'
Campo Leather features the same strengths that have led to the cumulative sales of 220,000 units of Campo, while applying leather material instead of fabric. Shinsegae Casa plans to target the leather sofa customer base as well.
Campo Leather adds a luxurious touch to the soft texture unique to leather, as well as to the material, color, and feel of the leather. It uses 'full-grain leather,' a premium grade leather with almost no surface defects, so it does not require polishing treatment to remove imperfections.
Additionally, it employs a 'semi-aniline finishing method' that adds a thin protective layer resistant to stains and wear, and uses a small amount of pigment to preserve the natural characteristics of the leather while enhancing color consistency, making the natural leather's unique gloss and color stand out more with use.
The leather colors apply a 'two-tone color' developed in-house to harmonize with Casamia's design direction, which pursues overall design harmony in the space. There are three options where two colors blend naturally: 'Light Gray,' 'Brown,' and 'Dark Gray.'
The range of leather application is also selectable. There is a 'full leather' version that applies leather to all surfaces of the sofa, and a 'combi leather' version that applies leather mainly to the areas that touch the skin, excluding the back of the back cushions and other parts.
Users can freely combine armrests according to their preferences, and the height of the back cushion can be adjusted through the head cushion option.
A Shinsegae Casa representative said, “Following the launch of ‘Campo Leather,’ we will additionally release the Campo Dining Series and Campo Living Series within the year, focusing on developing the ‘Campo’ series as Shinsegae Casa’s flagship brand.”
