Hapcheon Nammyung Learning Center Bears Fruit in 2024 College Entrance Exams!

High School Senior Bachelor Students 2024 College Admission Early Decision
Massive Acceptance to Metropolitan Area and National/Public Universities

The Hapcheon County Education Development Committee in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that 22 out of 26 third-year high school students at Nammyung Learning Center were admitted through the 2024 college early admission process.

In the 2024 early college admissions, one student was accepted to KAIST, 13 to regional national and public universities, and six to metropolitan area universities including Hanyang University. This is a significantly better result compared to 2023, when two students were admitted to metropolitan universities and 13 to regional national and public universities.

These achievements were driven by the consistent efforts and learning determination of the students, as well as collaboration between Hapcheon Office of Education and each school, providing customized level-based college entrance classes, mock exams, and admission consulting in partnership with Nammyung Learning Center.

Chairman Kim Yoon-cheol stated, “Although the decrease in school-age population poses challenges in nurturing local talent, we hope this opportunity will serve as a stepping stone for Nammyung Learning Center to reestablish itself as a prestigious public learning center.”

Meanwhile, Nammyung Learning Center has been established and operated by the Hapcheon County Education Development Committee since 2005. To bridge the educational gap with urban areas and foster local talent, it has shown steady results, with over 160 students admitted to metropolitan universities since its founding, through comprehensive management by an education specialized outsourcing company and provision of excellent instructor training programs.
