Dong-A University Ranks First Nationwide in Number of Overseas Employed Graduates Based on 2023 University Information Disclosure

Steady Efforts Including the K-Move Project

Over 500 People Employed in the U.S. in 10 Years

Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) achieved first place nationwide in the number of overseas employment based on the 2023 university information disclosure.

The number of overseas employment at Dong-A University ranked 4th in 2019 (59 people), 3rd in 2020 (36 people), 2nd in 2021 (53 people) and 2022 (53 people), and took 1st place in 2023 with 61 people.


Dong-A University has been strengthening overseas employment through programs such as the ‘K-Move School U.S. Global Expert Overseas Employment Project.’


K-Move is a financial support project led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor that provides customized curricula for students dreaming of overseas employment and connects them to overseas jobs.


Since 2013, Dong-A University has been selected for the K-Move project for 11 consecutive years and has employed more than 500 students in the United States over 10 years.


In particular, Dong-A University is the only institution nationwide that operates more than four courses including ▲Technician ▲Logistics Trade ▲Business ▲Design, and has received the highest A grade for five consecutive years in all four courses.


In addition to students participating in the K-Move project, Dong-A University has prepared support measures to intensively manage those wishing to work overseas and strengthen overseas employment capabilities, encouraging overseas employment in various countries such as the U.S., Japan, Malaysia, and East Timor, playing a leading role.


President Lee Hae-woo said, “As a result of great efforts since operating the overseas employment support project, we were able to achieve continuous selection as an excellent institution as well as first place nationwide in the number of overseas employment,” and added, “We will actively support Dong-A University students to become global talents in the future.”


Oh Eung-soo, director of Dong-A University Global Talent Development Center, said, “We will take the lead in strengthening overseas employment beyond Korea by developing and operating demand-tailored overseas employment support programs and continue to strive to maintain first place.”


Dong-A University is currently operating two courses for the 15th term of the 2023 second half K-Move School U.S. Global Expert Overseas Employment Project, and plans to conduct four courses (Technician, Business, Design, Logistics Trade) in the first half of this year (16th term).
