Regular Pledge Announcements Until February
The People Power Party is set to unveil its first election pledge as early as this week in preparation for the general election. The party stated that the pledge focuses on addressing various disparities existing in society.
On the afternoon of the 15th, Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party, held an inauguration ceremony for the Pledge Development Headquarters at the National Assembly and said, "The core of the pledge is prioritization," adding, "We will carefully check what our fellow citizens need most in our era."
He continued, "We will prepare and present pledges that make the people feel good and that they always look forward to," adding, "Just as people wait for their packages to be delivered after ordering, we will also diligently prepare our pledges."

Yu Ui-dong, the chair of the Policy Committee, Professor Hong Seok-cheol of Seoul National University, and Professor Jung Woo-sung of the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology were appointed as the general heads of the People Power Party's Pledge Development Headquarters. Member of Parliament Song In-seok was appointed as the head of the Development Headquarters, while the co-heads of the Pledge Planning Team are Lee Tae-gyu, senior deputy chair of the Policy Committee, Yoo Kyung-jun, deputy chair of the Policy Committee, and Hong Young-rim, director of the Yeouido Research Institute. Kim Soo-min, head of the Public Relations Headquarters, was appointed as the deputy head of the Pledge Planning Team.
Additionally, the Central Pledge Development Team includes Member of Parliament Yang Geum-hee (head of the Livelihood Plus Team), Member of Parliament Yoon Chang-hyun (head of the Economy Plus Team), Member of Parliament Kim Mi-ae (head of the Happiness Plus Team), Member of Parliament Kim Byung-wook (head of the Hope Plus Team), and Member of Parliament Jeon Bong-min (head of the Safety Plus Team). Member of Parliament Seo Byung-soo serves as the head of the Regional Development Pledge Communication Team.
Right after the inauguration ceremony, Chair Yu told reporters about the timing of the "first pledge" announcement, "We plan to announce it by the end of this week or early next week at the latest," explaining, "We will prioritize the key elements that threaten the community."
The Pledge Development Headquarters holds meetings every Wednesday at 8 a.m. The pledges decided after the meetings are planned to be announced in the latter half of the week or early the following week. They intend to regularly announce pledges until February, mainly focusing on pledges centered on the future.
