Igloo is gaining momentum. It is interpreted that Igloo, an Azure partner of Microsoft (MS), is being affected by the news that OpenAI, in which MS is the major shareholder, has launched an AI app store called ‘GPT Store’.
As of 2:27 PM on the 15th, Igloo is trading at 6,850 KRW, up 3.16% compared to the previous day.
According to the industry, OpenAI has launched the GPT Store for paid members. Companies or individual developers can trade customized chatbot apps developed based on ChatGPT on the GPT Store. On the first day of its release, the number of GPTs available in the store reached 3 million.
The industry views the GPT Store as a new platform that will lead the AI era, similar to Apple’s App Store ecosystem. In particular, it is analyzed that the impact will be greater if the use of the GPT Store becomes active, especially among companies.
MS is the major shareholder holding 50% of OpenAI’s shares. OpenAI has signed a contract to operate on MS’s ‘Azure Cloud’.
Meanwhile, Igloo is a company that achieved first place in the public market by launching Korea’s first next-generation AI security monitoring solution, ‘SPiDER TM AI’. Through a partner contract with MS Azure, it has agreed to provide security monitoring solutions and services compatible with MS Azure.
