Partial Support for Housing Renovation Costs Over 20 Years
Indoor Water Supply Pipes Up to 1.8 Million KRW, Shared Pipes Up to 600,000 KRW Limit

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 15th that it will partially support the renovation costs of water pipes in old houses.

The support targets are single-family and multi-family houses with a total floor area of 130㎡ or less, built over 20 years ago, where water pipe corrosion and rust occur.

The maximum support amount per household is 1.8 million KRW for indoor water supply pipes and 600,000 KRW for shared pipes. The city provides differential support ranging from 30% to 90% of the construction cost depending on the house area, and fully covers the construction costs for houses owned by basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups.

For water pipe renovation, homeowners selected as support recipients choose a construction company on their own, complete the work, and submit related proof documents. The city then verifies the completion of the work and disburses the support funds.

Applicants submit the renovation support application form and related documents to the Osan City Waterworks Division, and support eligibility is determined through an on-site inspection. The city has allocated a total budget of 150 million KRW for water pipe renovation projects this year.
