'Delivery Price Conflict' Ends After 4 Years 9 Months, Transactions Resume
Elastine, Perio, Coca-Cola, CNP, and Others Re-Entry
Rocket Delivery Purchases Available from Mid-Month
Coupang and LG Household & Health Care, which had been in conflict over delivery prices, will resume direct transactions after 4 years and 9 months. As a result, Coupang customers will be able to receive LG Household & Health Care products such as Elastine, Perio, Coca-Cola, and CNP via Rocket Delivery starting from mid-this month.

According to both companies on the 12th, LG Household & Health Care’s products are scheduled to be sequentially listed on Coupang Rocket Delivery starting from mid-this month.
Previously, since 2019, the two companies had conflicts over delivery prices related to household goods and Coca-Cola sales. LG Household & Health Care reported Coupang to the Fair Trade Commission for violations of the Large-scale Distribution Business Act and the Fair Trade Act in 2019, and then cut off direct transactions with Coupang. As a result, LG Household & Health Care’s products were only sold in the form of an open market on Coupang, making Rocket Delivery unavailable.
According to the industry, the two companies have been continuously negotiating for over a year since early last year to resume transactions. With the resumption of transactions, Coupang customers will be able to purchase LG Household & Health Care’s household goods such as Elastine, Perio, Tech, and Coca-Cola sequentially via Rocket Delivery starting from mid-January.
Coupang plans to offer excellent products and services to ease customers’ burden of high prices. With this resumption of transactions, various beauty brands of LG Household & Health Care will also be introduced through Rocket Delivery. LG Household & Health Care’s beauty brands such as O Hui, Su:m37, and The History of Whoo will be sold through Coupang’s luxury beauty brand exclusive section, 'Rocket Luxury.' Beauty brands like CNP, which are very popular mainly among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), will be available via Rocket Delivery.
Coupang plans to actively communicate and collaborate with partners so that customers can purchase more diverse and high-quality products in the future. A Coupang official said, "We will create synergy by combining Coupang’s nationwide Rocket Delivery logistics infrastructure with LG Household & Health Care’s vast product selection in the beauty, household goods, and beverage sectors."
An LG Household & Health Care official stated, "We will continue to strengthen marketing activities across various distribution channels so that customers can easily purchase high-quality products in the future."
