Four Areas: Pre-Information, Original Text Disclosure, Claim Processing, and Customer Management
Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 12th that it has been selected as an ‘Excellent’ institution for two consecutive years in the ‘2023 Comprehensive Information Disclosure Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducts an annual comprehensive information disclosure evaluation targeting a total of 550 institutions, including central administrative agencies, to ensure the reliability and transparency of the information disclosure system operation. The evaluation assesses information disclosure performance in 12 indicators across four areas: advance information, original document disclosure, request processing, and customer management, rating them as Excellent, Good, Average, or Poor.
Jinju City scored 93.39 points, which is 9.84 points higher than the average of 83.55 points for the ‘Basic Local Government - City’ category, and was selected as an Excellent institution.
In particular, the city received perfect scores in four indicators, including the number of advance information disclosures registered and customer demand analysis performance, positively evaluated for proactively identifying various information of public interest in advance and conducting customer demand analysis through diverse methods.
Mayor Cho Gyu-il stated, “This is the result of proactive efforts such as regularly monitoring advance information and original documents to guarantee citizens’ right to know and provide transparent information disclosure.” He added, “We will continue to actively disclose and provide high-quality information so that Jinju City can become even more trusted.”
