"Ceasefire Gives Russia Time to Arm, Increasing Danger"
Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, stated on the 11th (local time) that Russia has received over one million rounds of ammunition from North Korea.
According to major foreign media, President Zelensky, who is on a tour of the three Baltic states, said this during a speech in Tallinn, Estonia, adding that Russia is negotiating to purchase missiles from Iran.
Earlier, the U.S. White House also revealed that North Korea recently provided Russia with ballistic missile launchers and dozens of missiles, and on the 6th, North Korean missiles were launched into Ukraine.
In his speech, President Zelensky said that a ceasefire would only give Russia time to rearm and help it attack Ukraine, stating, "We will not take such a risk." He added, "It is important that Russia is held accountable for all crimes and acts of destruction caused by its aggression," and said that if Russia bears economic responsibility, it will serve as an important lesson to other dictators.
President Zelensky also said that the most important goal this year is to implement the peace plan, which has so far involved more than 80 countries. Ukraine aims to establish a 'peace formula' consisting of ten items, including the complete withdrawal of Russian troops. The fourth meeting on the Ukraine peace formula, attended by security officials from various countries, will be held in Switzerland on the 14th of this month.
President Zelensky unexpectedly visited Vilnius, Lithuania, the day before and repeatedly requested Western support, citing a lack of air defense systems to defend against missile and drone attacks.
