The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 11th that it will hold the 'National Tour Briefing on the External Audit System' in five cities?Daegu, Busan, Ulsan, Seoul, and Gwangju?from the 25th of this month to the 1st of next month.
At the briefing, the Financial Supervisory Service plans to explain important matters that accounting personnel and auditors should be aware of regarding auditor appointment and designation. Regarding the appointment system, it will cover the criteria for determining external audit targets and the procedures for appointing auditors; regarding the designation system, it will convey recent major amendments such as reasons for auditor designation and requests for redesignation.
Companies or auditors wishing to participate can apply in advance through the websites of the chambers of commerce and industry in the regions where the briefings will be held.
