The support scale covers up to 60% of the installation cost within a limit of 3 million KRW. The remaining 40% is borne by the farmers.

Applicants can visit the administrative welfare centers of the towns, townships, or neighborhoods with jurisdiction over the farmland location to apply from the 15th of this month until the 16th of next month.

The city plans to select support recipients by considering factors such as ▲whether damage has repeatedly occurred ▲efforts made to prevent damage ▲installation costs ▲and the area of the damaged region.

Additionally, from the 15th, the city will provide compensation of up to 3 million KRW for damage caused by wild animals. Compensation applications must be submitted to the administrative welfare centers of the towns, townships, or neighborhoods where the land is located within 5 days from the date the damage occurred.

Oh Je-hong, head of Hwaseong City Environmental Office, said, "We will continue to strive to reduce damage to farmers and residents caused by wild animals."
