Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training & Hanoi National University of Transport Exchange Agreement
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) is opening diverse paths for exchange and cooperation, boosting the 'education boom' in Vietnam.
On the 10th of this month (local time), Dongmyung University signed an exchange agreement with the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (Center for International Education Consultancy, CIEC) and Hanoi University of Transport and Communications (President Nguyen Ngoc Long, UTC). The agreement includes establishing dual degree programs and short-term technical programs between the universities.
The business agreement with the Center for International Education Consultancy under the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training supports the development and establishment of joint degree programs between Korean and Vietnamese universities, Korean study and career paths for Vietnamese freshmen, and the joint development and operation of Korean language education programs for Vietnamese students studying in Korea. The project plans to proceed by recommending participating universities in the Hanoi area.

Hanoi University of Transport and Communications is the first university to implement this program. Dongmyung University plans to open dual degree linkage programs in International Logistics and Mechatronics Engineering majors.
The two universities also agreed to cooperate in guiding domestic employment paths for participants in this program and supporting their settlement in Korea using regional specialized visas after employment at companies in Busan.
Dongmyung University will create an employment support platform that allows students participating in this program to undertake internship programs during their studies and find employment at Korean companies through the Busan regional specialized visa program after graduation, enabling them to reside in the Busan area.
Students enrolled in the international university exclusively for foreign students will be supported in settling in Korea through internships and multi-semester educational programs, just like domestic students, to obtain Korean employment and residence visas.
