On this day, 20 people attended, including Chairman Seo Young-bae and city council members, the head of the Nonghyup Central Association Gwangyang branch, and heads of regional Nonghyup cooperatives (Gwangyang, Donggwangyang, Gwangyang East, Jinsang, Daap, Gwangyang Horticulture).

The attendees listened to an explanation from Moon Jeong-tae, head of Dongbu Nonghyup, about the necessity of establishing the Gwangyang City Nonghyup Cooperative Joint Business Corporation (integrated marketing organization) and had a time to communicate on related matters.

The Gwangyang City Nonghyup Cooperative Joint Business Corporation is an organization that fosters a specialized sales organization based on horticultural agricultural producer organizations to achieve unification and scaling of agricultural products, providing comprehensive support by combining production and distribution by item.

Starting this year, government-supported subsidy projects have been reorganized into a 'package' support method that applies and supports subsidies collectively, allowing only organizations that meet government approval requirements to apply for subsidy projects.

Accordingly, the Gwangyang City Federation Business Group plans to establish the Gwangyang City Nonghyup Cooperative Joint Business Corporation early this year to meet the government's approval requirements.

The heads of local Nonghyup cooperatives who attended on this day unanimously said, "Although the integrated marketing organization will launch this year, there are many operational difficulties," and requested cooperation, saying, "We hope the city council will work to ensure the corporation is successfully established and contributes to generating profits for local farms."

Chairman Seo Young-bae said, "It was a meaningful occasion to deeply share opinions on the necessity of the integrated marketing organization," and added, "We will frequently create opportunities to listen to the voices from the field and discuss agricultural issues and policies together."
