KOTRA Transfers 'Big Data Utilization Methods' to Saudi Export Promotion Agency

Sharing the Current Status of Export Support Application on Major Digital Platforms Including Tryvic

KOTRA announced on the 11th that it transferred its know-how on digital transformation (DX) export support using big data to the Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA) at its headquarters in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.


SEDA is an export promotion agency established in 2013 to help Saudi products enter the global market. This visit by SEDA to KOTRA was arranged at the request of the Saudi side.

Over two days, KOTRA introduced SEDA to ▲the four major digital platforms ▲data analysis support and management policies ▲digital trade support models. The focus was especially on ways to activate transactions between countries using data and digital technologies in the non-face-to-face era.


Lee Jung-hoon, head of KOTRA’s Digital Trade and Investment Division, said, "Being recognized by overseas related organizations as a benchmarking institution for big data and digital transformation is the result of our ongoing efforts centered on digital export support. KOTRA will continuously advance the digital trade support system to bring forward an era where 'any Korean citizen who wishes to export can do so.'"
