Korea Exchange Systems (KMS) announced its new launch as 'Proptier,' combining its reputation as a top real estate big data company with The Biz's technological capabilities.
Having joined the SK Discovery group in 2021, KMS holds information on over 12 million apartment units, while The Biz provides services supporting approximately 23,000 licensed real estate agents through its platform 'Isiljang.' The name 'Proptier' merges real estate technology, PropTech, with the concept of a frontier pioneering new areas, embodying a vision to lead the market through challenging and innovative services.
This merger aims not only to enhance real estate big data and brokerage solutions to offer better services to 117,000 licensed real estate agents nationwide but also to establish a new growth engine by integrating PropFinTech business combined with financial services.
Recently, through collaboration with Shinhan Bank, Proptier launched a linked service for monthly rent deposit loans, providing convenience to customers and showcasing innovative services. With the application of electronic contracts by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, additional preferential interest rates will be offered, and agents will be able to monitor loan progress in real time, enabling faster provision of necessary services to clients.
Seodongrok, CEO of Proptier, stated, "The merger of the two companies is based on the accumulated expertise in their respective fields and close cooperation. We will achieve mutual growth and development by combining real estate data, licensed agent networks, and innovative financial services."
He added, "Through these efforts, Proptier will provide the highest value to customers as a leading PropFinTech company."
