Oh Chang-gyun (61), former director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Research Institute, declared on the 9th that he will run in the Daegu Suseong-gap electoral district.
At a press conference held at the People Power Party Daegu City Party Office in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, Oh said, "It is time for proactive and precise policies that the nation and the prestigious Suseong-gu need," and promised the realization of advanced politics in the economic powerhouse Republic of Korea for 21st-century politics, politics that prioritize the people and national interests, and the implementation of policy-based livelihood politics.
Oh also stated, "For the prestigious Suseong-gu, the center of Daegu, to grow even larger, the strengths that Suseong-gu possesses in education, housing, culture, and economy must be strengthened, functions must be advanced, and spatial structures must be innovated. I will devote all my policy capabilities to this."
