The newly introduced 'LG SIGNATURE OLED T' is a self-emissive OLED TV that maintains excellent picture quality while combining transparent OLED technology that allows viewers to see through the screen and wireless AV transmission and reception technology, redefining the TV viewing experience.
When powered off, the screen is as transparent as glass, allowing viewers to see through it, providing a sense of openness and excellent harmony with surrounding interior design. It addresses customers’ pain points who feel that black TV screens disrupt home interiors.
With wireless AV transmission and reception technology, all cables except the power cord around the transparent screen are eliminated, achieving a higher level of minimalism and reducing installation constraints. This allows customers to freely install the TV according to their lifestyle, such as in front of living room windows or between the living room and kitchen.
Two screen modes, ‘Transparent Mode’ and ‘Black Screen Mode,’ offer customized viewing experiences. Transparent Mode provides a three-dimensional sensation not felt on other TVs. For example, when enjoying media art of swimming fish, the overlapping of the space behind the screen and the content creates a three-dimensional effect as if the fish are actually swimming inside your space.
In Black Screen Mode, users can enjoy movies and games with the excellent picture quality of a 77-inch 4K resolution OLED. The screen mode can be easily switched using the remote control.

The AI-enhanced OLED-dedicated picture and sound engine, the 'Alpha 11 Processor,' and LG Electronics’ smart TV platform webOS, celebrating its 10th anniversary, further highlight the advantages of the transparent OLED T.
The OLED T-exclusive webOS home screen separates content recommendation pages to reduce the amount of information displayed on one screen, making it more concise. The larger screen margins allow users to feel the openness unique to transparent OLED. The ‘OLED T-bar Mode’ displays the date, weather, and major news in a bar form at the bottom of the transparent screen, providing necessary information.
Based on AI performance that is four times stronger than the previous Alpha 9, the Alpha 11 Processor improves graphic performance by 70% and speeds up webOS app processing by 30%. It analyzes video at the pixel level, adjusts colors considering the creator’s intent, and converts 2-channel audio sources into rich spatial sound.
The LG SIGNATURE OLED T is scheduled to be launched in global markets including Korea within this year. Hyung-se Park, head of LG Electronics’ HE Business Division, said, “The world’s first wireless transparent OLED TV is a product that redefines customers’ screen experience. We will go beyond the limits of TV to provide customers with an unprecedented experience.”
The LG SIGNATURE OLED T received high praise, winning a total of five awards in four categories including ▲Video Display ▲Video and Picture Processing ▲Built-in Technology ▲Content & Entertainment, including the CES 2024 Best Innovation Award.
