Russian Minor Female Model Found Dead After Visiting 'Billionaire' Epstein's Island

Real Names of 150 People on the 'Epstein List' Revealed

Controversy has arisen over the revelation that billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was exposed for sexually exploiting minors, is linked to the death of a Russian top model who took her own life in 2008. The New York Post reported on the 5th (local time) that a U.S. court document, which disclosed real names, confirmed the presence of Russian model Ruslana Korshunova on Epstein's private jet passenger list from 2006.

Ruslana Korshunova was a Kazakhstani model known as Russia's Rapunzel. In 2008, at the age of 20, she was found dead after jumping from an apartment in New York's Wall Street area. It was confirmed that on June 7, 2006, when Korshunova was 18, she boarded the private jet of "billionaire sex offender" Jeffrey Epstein in New York and visited his Caribbean island.

The plane carried Korshunova, who was a minor at the time, along with wealthy and powerful men. On Epstein's island, the destination of the flight, illegal activities such as sexual exploitation of minors and sexual bribery involving celebrities were reportedly carried out. The court documents released do not clarify how Korshunova came to board Epstein's private jet or what her activities were after arriving on the island.

Two years after visiting Epstein's island, Korshunova took her own life in her apartment in Manhattan, New York, in 2008. At the time, her boyfriend stated that she was "tormented by problems weighing on her mind." It was also reported that she had become involved in a cult before her death.

'Epstein List' Disclosure Fallout

Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide while in custody on charges of sexually exploiting minors. The "Epstein List" released on the 5th included names such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Britain's Prince Andrew, former U.S. President Donald Trump, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Google co-founder Sergey Brin, famous magician David Copperfield, and singer Michael Jackson. However, having a name on the list does not necessarily mean involvement in Epstein's crimes.

Earlier, on the 20th of last month, U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska ordered the disclosure of the real names of 150 previously anonymized individuals involved in Epstein-related documents. These documents are related to a defamation lawsuit filed in 2015 by Virginia Giuffre, an American woman who was sexually exploited by Epstein, against the daughter of British media mogul Robert Maxwell.
