Gumi Public Health Center Expands Support Recipients for Allergy Disease in Vulnerable Groups Notice on the Expansion of Medical Expense and Moisturizer Support Recipients for Atopic Asthma.

This project supports medical expenses and moisturizers for patients under the age of 18 with atopic dermatitis and asthma in Gumi. The eligibility criteria have been changed from households in the bottom 50% of health insurance premiums to households with income below 100% of the median standard income.

Additionally, recipients of type 1 and 2 medical benefits, households with three or more children, and multicultural households are also eligible for benefits.

Applicants can check their eligibility on the Gumi Public Health Center website and then visit the health center with the required documents to apply.

Choi Hyun-joo, director of the Gumi Public Health Center, said, “Due to the industrial nature of Gumi, where many factories are located, there is a high possibility of allergic diseases caused by environmental factors. In response, we will develop various projects to prevent allergic diseases and reduce social and economic burdens.”
