I Live for the Taste of Eating Jelly

Jelly is the best jelly

I Live for the Taste of Eating Jelly

We were free from Monday blues for two consecutive weeks. The four-day workweek had naturally settled in, but now we have to wake up from this sweet dream? If you're a student who doesn't want to study but is sitting at your desk, or an office worker who doesn't want to work but is resting your hand on the vending machine, quickly reach your hand into the desk. Eating a jelly will at least improve your mood a bit. Don't forget that the phrase 'at least' can be replaced with different expressions depending on the flavor of the jelly. Although I pride myself on having tried various jellies, it seems I still have a long way to go. Every convenience store I visit has new ones appearing one after another. Not all are sold at every convenience store, but I have organized the delicious jellies I buy and stock up on whenever I see them.

Haribo Primavera Strawberry Jelly

I Live for the Taste of Eating Jelly

"Am I the only one who just recently found out about this jelly? Why didn't anyone tell me?" I muttered to myself into the air the moment I popped one into my mouth. The Primavera jelly, shaped like sliced strawberries, boasts a unique texture that sets it apart from typical jellies. The moment it enters your mouth, it feels soft as if marshmallow is melting, but when you chew, it emits a very faint crunching sound. You can put one in your mouth and let it melt while reading a book or concentrating on something. Unlike chocolate, which leaves traces on your teeth before disappearing, this one quietly vanishes, leaving behind a refreshing and sweet taste. Although it's strawberry-flavored, it leans more toward sweetness than tartness, and this distinctive texture might divide opinions. I'm a huge fan! However, since it feels very high in calories, it's better to set a daily limit on how many you consume. (Since it's the beginning of the year...)

Vidal Sour Red Mix

The combination of sourness and strawberry flavor is simply unbeatable. It's a blend of sweet and sour with an extra tang! The pleasantly sharp sourness feels like a slight twitch in your mouth, familiar yet new. The jelly looks like it was freshly sliced at the factory and comes in two shapes: cylindrical and square. The white part, reminiscent of marshmallow, is coated with red jelly that carries a strawberry flavor, sprinkled with sour powder. Unlike Haribo gummy bears, it has a tougher and firmer texture, but before you know it, it melts in your mouth. It's the taste of capitalism. Once you try it, you want to keep eating and can't stop.

Haribo Grapefruit & Peach

The grapefruit-flavored jelly, composed of two colors, boasts a softer texture than regular Haribo jellies. It has a cute design resembling sliced grapefruit, dusted heavily with sugar-like powder. You might expect the characteristic bitterness of grapefruit, but that's not the case. The tartness of grapefruit is strongly felt rather than sweetness. Especially, it doesn't stick to your teeth or feel hard, making it perfect as a snack! I also bought and tried the peach flavor along with the grapefruit, and the two paired well. My advice is to buy two bags and eat them together. The grapefruit flavor is more tangy, while the peach flavor is sweeter. Since the sour and sweet tastes are distinctly felt, enjoying them together makes it even more delicious.

Kiwi Almeongi (Kiwi Jelly Pieces)
I Live for the Taste of Eating Jelly

All the Almeongi series are delicious. Lychee Almeongi, plum Almeongi, grape Almeongi, and yellow peach Almeongi. I liked how each jelly sweetly captured the aroma and flavor charm of the respective fruit, but my favorite was the yellow peach Almeongi. Since I liked the Almeongi series, my curiosity about the Kiwi Almeongi naturally grew. Kiwi jelly is not commonly found, so I was glad when it was released, and I was satisfied with its fresh and sweet charm. Especially, the popping texture that you can't find in other Almeongi series became the reason I keep buying it repeatedly.
