According to Korean Air and Asiana Airlines on the 3rd, from the afternoon onward, all flights between Incheon and Gimpo International Airports and Haneda Airport are operating on their original schedules.

Passengers of 10 flights that were delayed or canceled while traveling to and from Haneda Airport due to the airport closure the previous day have all arrived at their destinations.

Korean Air canceled a total of 5 flights, including 3 between Gimpo and Haneda and 2 between Incheon and Haneda, but accommodated passengers from the canceled flights by deploying larger aircraft than usual and utilizing remaining seats.

Passengers of KE2103, which diverted to Nagoya Airport the previous day, were provided with post-incident support for transportation costs to Tokyo or partial support for hotel accommodation expenses in Nagoya.

Asiana Airlines transported passengers from canceled flights to their destinations through subsequent flights.

Passengers of OZ1035, which was scheduled to depart Haneda Airport at 8:05 PM the previous day for Gimpo Airport, departed three hours late at 11 PM and returned to Incheon Airport.

Asiana Airlines stated that they provided 9 charter buses to passengers who arrived late at night at locations other than their original destinations to help them return home.

The incident occurred when a Japan Airlines (JAL) passenger plane carrying 379 passengers and crew, which had taken off from New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, collided with a Japan Coast Guard aircraft on the runway immediately after landing at Haneda Airport. Five of the six people on board the Japan Coast Guard aircraft died.
