High Subscription Competition in Chungcheong... 'Eumseong Xi Central City' Attracts Attention

The 2023 local housing sales market was led by Daejeon and Chungcheong, recording a first-priority subscription competition rate of 9.3 to 1.


Real estate experts suggest this is significant as it occurred amid a downturn in the real estate market.


According to the Korea Real Estate Board's local subscription status based on application dates up to December 15, last year, the first-priority subscription competition rate slightly rose from 8.29 to 1 the previous year. Among these, Chungcheong emerged as a hot region in the local real estate market, boasting an average competition rate of 21.13 to 1.


This year, half of the top 10 local areas with the highest first-priority subscription competition rates were all in the Chungcheong region, indicating these areas led the local housing sales market.


The complexes driving Chungcheong real estate are characterized by proximity to workplaces and branded complexes. In particular, investment attraction to large corporations and national industrial complexes, along with high per capita personal income, are believed to have drawn genuine buyers seeking new apartments.


Among these, Eumseong-gun has continued to lead Chungbuk's economy with sustained growth in economic indicators despite difficult economic conditions. Especially, thanks to corporate sales growth driven by attracting companies to high-tech industrial complexes, its per capita GRDP has reached first place in the province for the first time, reflecting a high income level.


Furthermore, infrastructure is gradually expanding due to investment attraction, and job creation and increased income consumption have become the foundation for securing regional development capabilities, which is a driving force for Eumseong-gun.


Given this situation, genuine buyers are focusing on branded complexes located in Eumseong-gun. In particular, ‘Eumseong Ja-i Central City,’ conveniently accessible to nearby industrial complexes, is expected to greatly reduce the initial cost burden for newlyweds and genuine buyers with its unprecedented contract condition changes in the new year 2024, providing significant help for home ownership.

The model house is located in Maengdong-myeon, Eumseong-gun, Chungbuk.
