Selected as the winner of the special topic award for citizen participation policy proposals in May last year, this system incentivizes local youths to take an interest in city administration and encourages them to promote Jeongeup’s administration and tourist sites through their personal SNS, being recognized as a creative idea that can promote the city from various perspectives.

Specific point allocation targets include ▲5,000 points upon new registration ▲500 points for posting links and scanned copies of promotional posts related to city administration on personal SNS (limited to 3 times per week) ▲5,000 points for participating in city-sponsored education or meetings ▲5,000 points for participating in city-sponsored festivals or workshops ▲3,000 points for visiting local tourist attractions and posting on SNS (limited to 2 places per day).

Points can be converted into Jeongeup Love Gift Certificates when a minimum of 5,000 points is accumulated monthly. If the minimum is not met, points are carried over to the next month and combined. However, points can only be accumulated up to 50,000 points per month and a maximum of 400,000 points annually.

Applications can be made year-round (early closure when budget is exhausted), and applicants must submit related documents via email to the Youth Support Team of the Job Policy Division.

Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “Through this system, I hope that creative youths with diverse perspectives will take an interest in city administration and tourist attractions and help promote the vibrant aspects of Jeongeup.” He added, “We will continue to implement various policies for youths and strive to make Jeongeup a better place for young people to live.”
