On the morning of the 1st, Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, visited the 3.15 Democratic Cemetery and the Changwon Memorial Tower to honor the spirits of the patriotic and democratic martyrs.

Governor Park wrote in the memorial books at the 3.15 Cemetery and the Memorial Tower, "I will open a new era of hope in Gyeongnam together with the residents," and "I will strive to make Gyeongsangnam-do a new hope for the Republic of Korea," respectively.
