The Criminal Division 2 of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Choi Jae-jun) announced on the 29th that eight security company employees, including Mr. A (20), were indicted without detention on charges of obstruction of official duties.

Mr. A and the other seven are accused of obstructing official duties by spraying fire extinguisher powder to block the forced execution by the court enforcement officers at the Sky72 Golf Club in Yeongjongdo, Jung-gu, Incheon, on January 17 of this year. All of them were identified as employees of a security company hired by the golf course facility lessee.

Incheon International Airport Corporation won the final appeal in December last year in a ‘real estate delivery lawsuit’ against the previous golf course operator, Sky72 Co., Ltd. Accordingly, the Incheon District Court enforcement office carried out forced execution against the previous golf course operator who did not return the Sky72 golf course site to Incheon International Airport Corporation.
