Four workers were injured when the central stage equipment collapsed during a concert setup in Gwangju.
According to the Gwangju Fire Department on the 28th, the concert stage equipment collapsed around 6:50 PM at the exhibition hall inside the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju.
At the time, a total of 10 workers were installing the stage in preparation for a concert scheduled to be held on the 30th.
Four workers who were struck by the falling stage equipment were transported to the hospital.
The fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances based on eyewitness statements that "the stage equipment collapsed starting from the middle section during the work."
