Gyeongnam National University to Recruit '2024 Transfer Students' Until January 3 Next Year

Gyeongnam National University, a prestigious regional private university nurturing ‘creative convergence regional talents’ to lead regional development globally, is recruiting transfer students for the 2024 academic year until January 3 next year.

The university will select a total of 450 students from 40 departments, including 437 general transfer students and 13 bachelor’s degree transfer students. All successful applicants will receive a 50% tuition scholarship for one year and a free one-year online language course subscription.

The selection method is as follows: ▲Departments of Social Welfare, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and the College of Education will select candidates based on 70% previous university grades and 30% interview scores; ▲Departments of Art Education, Music Education, and Physical Education will select candidates based on 40% previous university grades, 30% interview scores, and 30% practical exam scores. Other departments will select candidates based on 100% previous university grades.

Additionally, for working professionals, a ‘Blended Class’ combining online and offline lessons will be offered in the ▲School of Business Administration, ▲Department of Mechanical Engineering, and ▲Department of Electrical Engineering, and transfer students will be recruited. The ‘Blended Class’ consists of 70% non-face-to-face and 30% face-to-face (evening) classes, allowing working professionals to earn a bachelor’s degree by attending evening or weekend classes while employed.

Applications can only be submitted online until 5 PM on January 3 next year. Documents must be submitted online by 5 PM on January 12. Interviews will be held on January 19, and practical (interview) exams on January 20. The final successful candidates will be announced on February 2.
