Dong-Eui University Obtains University Institutional Evaluation Accreditation for the Second Half of This Year

Recognition of University Competency and Future Development Potential Secured

Dong-Eui University has obtained the final certification qualification in the '2023 Second Half University Institutional Evaluation Certification' conducted by the Korea University Education Council's Korea University Accreditation Institute.

With this certification, Dong-Eui University will maintain its status as a certified university for five years until December 2028.

The University Institutional Evaluation Certification is a system that evaluates whether a university has a management system and an excellent educational framework capable of meeting the demands of education consumers as a higher education institution, granting social trust to certified universities. It replaces the existing university financial support evaluation.

Dong-Eui University was evaluated as a university that has secured its capabilities and future development potential through various achievements aimed at improving educational conditions, facilities, and the competencies of students and faculty, reflecting its unique talent image of "Collaborative Talents Forming a Forest Together" in its university development plan and realizing this talent vision.

Han Su-hwan, President of Dong-Eui University, said, "We have obtained this third-cycle certification through the university's innovation and efforts to establish the best educational environment to nurture creative collaborative talents who will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution era," adding, "We will not be complacent with this certification but will strive to continuously innovate the university by developing new growth engines."

The third-cycle University Institutional Evaluation Certification involved document evaluation and on-site visits, assessing 30 areas across five domains: university philosophy and management, curriculum and teaching-learning, faculty and staff, student support and facilities, and university performance and social responsibility. Including Dong-Eui University, 49 universities obtained certification in the second half of 2023.
