Honam University Discusses Exchange and Cooperation with Liaodong University, China

On the 27th, the Director of International Exchange at Honam University met with a delegation from Yodong University in China, including Jeong Rimrim, Dean of Yodong University College of Medicine, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two institutions.

The visit was attended by Son Wani, Director of International Exchange at Honam University, Yoo Hyesook, Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Ha Yoonju, Head of the Department of Nursing, Bae Eungyeong, Head of the Department of Social Welfare, and other related faculty members from Honam University, as well as Jeong Rimrim, Dean of Yodong University College of Medicine, Mudanni, Head of the Office of External Cooperation, Yoo Narae, Korean-Chinese Program Academic Staff, and interpreters from Yodong University.

Following a campus tour at Honam University, the delegation held exchange discussions with the faculty of the Department of Social Welfare, and then toured the nursing practice rooms with the Dean of the College of Health Sciences and nursing faculty. During this meeting, the two universities engaged in in-depth discussions on student and faculty exchange programs, as well as 3+1 and 3+2 master's degree articulation programs.

Yodong University in China currently enrolls approximately 15,000 students and employs around 1,600 faculty and staff members.
