On the afternoon of the 28th, Ms. A (28), a woman in her 20s accused of threatening the late actor Lee Seon-gyun (48) to extort money, appeared at the Incheon District Court for a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant hearing).
Ms. A, who got off a police van, wore a thick coat and a hat to minimize facial exposure, and was seen holding a baby in her hands. When reporters asked, "Do you admit to threatening Mr. Lee? Is it true that you received 50 million won from him?" she did not respond. She remained silent despite repeated questions such as "Why did you flee? Do you have anything to say to Mr. Lee?"

The warrant hearing was scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM that day, with the decision on detention expected later in the afternoon. Ms. A is accused of threatening actor Lee, who was under suspicion of drug use, to extort 50 million won.
Earlier, Mr. Lee claimed, "I was threatened in connection with this incident and extorted 350 million won," and filed a criminal complaint for blackmail against Ms. B (29, female, detained), a manager at an entertainment establishment, and Ms. A, who is an acquaintance of Ms. B’s upstairs neighbor. It is known that Mr. Lee urgently raised cash through an acquaintance and gave 300 million won to Ms. B and 50 million won to Ms. A, respectively.
Following a police investigation, a pre-arrest warrant was requested for Ms. A, who suddenly failed to appear without explanation at the warrant hearing held at the Incheon District Court on the afternoon of the 26th. When Ms. A did not show up at the court, the police began to confirm her whereabouts and executed an arrest warrant the day before, securing her custody.
