YJM Games announced on the 28th that ‘Overturn: Revive,’ developed by One Universe, has been officially released on the global VR (Virtual Reality) company PICO store.
‘Overturn: Revive’ is a remastered version of Studio HG’s ‘Overturn,’ which was released in 2017 to great acclaim. It has been enhanced in quality to suit current-generation devices, with improvements in systems and content, and full compatibility with devices. With this PICO store release, it will be available on PICO VR headset devices, targeting the domestic market as well as countries including China, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, and Singapore.
At the time of its release, Overturn received high praise in the market as a VR game, winning awards such as the G-Rank Challenge Seoul Award and the Next Generation Game Content Award at the 2017 Korea Game Awards.
Overturn: Revive, a first-person action VR game, features a cute girl character who appears as the user’s assistant. Players physically move to play, hiding behind walls or peeking out slightly to shoot. It offers a cinematic shooting experience, allowing players to feel the essence of shooting and adventure gameplay through the VR platform.
Meanwhile, PICO is a global company ranked second in market share in the global VR headset market, supporting a variety of VR games and content through its dedicated store. According to the global research firm Counterpoint, PICO holds more than 50% of the XR (Extended Reality) shipments within China in 2023.
