The deadline to claim the uncollected prize money for Lotto Draw No. 1054, which was drawn on February 11, is just over a month away.

On the 28th, lottery operator Donghaeng Lottery announced that the deadline to claim the uncollected prize money for Lotto Draw No. 1054 is just over a month away. The unclaimed first prize amounts to 3,147,925,709 KRW. There were first prize winners in a total of nine locations including Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Busan, but one of them has yet to claim their prize.

The winning numbers are '14, 19, 27, 28, 30, 45', and the winning ticket was sold at a lottery retailer located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Lotto prize money must be claimed within one year from the start of payment. The deadline for Draw No. 1054 is February 12 of the following year. Prize money unclaimed after the deadline is fully transferred to the Lottery Fund according to the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act. The Lottery Fund is used to support various public interest projects such as welfare for low-income vulnerable groups, housing stability, promotion of science and technology, and cultural heritage protection.

Kim Jeong-eun, team leader of the Sound Marketing Team at Donghaeng Lottery, said, "Sometimes people buy a lottery ticket and spend a pleasant week hoping for luck but pass by without checking if they won." She urged, "When you buy a lottery ticket, keep it nearby immediately, and even if you miss the draw day, don’t forget to check the winning numbers."

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Economy and Finance’s Lottery Commission and Donghaeng Lottery revealed that over the past 10 years, 29 people who won the first prize in Lotto did not claim their winnings, totaling 60.9 billion KRW. On average, each person did not claim about 2.1 billion KRW. The second prize unclaimed amount was 15.6 billion KRW across 287 cases, with an average amount of 54 million KRW. The 5th prize of 5,000 KRW accounted for the largest share at 65.6%.
