Busan Gijang-gun and Women's Association Council Share Tteokguk Rice Cakes for Vulnerable Groups

Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) carried out a rice cake soup rice cake sharing activity for underprivileged groups on the 26th in collaboration with the Gijang-gun Women's Association Council (President Jo Bok-im).

Despite the cold weather, 12 executives of the Gijang-gun Women's Association Council participated in the event, and rice cake soup rice cakes were packaged at the Gijang-gun Women's Association Council office (located in Gijang-eup) and delivered to 276 vulnerable households, including low-income families, elderly living alone, and single-parent families in the area.


An official from Gijang-gun said, "We sincerely thank the members of the Women's Association Council who actively participate in the rice cake sharing event every year despite the cold weather," and added, "We hope that through this sharing, the underprivileged neighbors in the district can have a warm winter."
