The Green Umbrella Gwangju Regional Headquarters announced on the 27th that it received a year-end donation of 8.4 million won to help children from the Kia Motors Union Gwangju Branch.
This donation will be used to support child care facilities that suffered water leakage damage due to the unusually heavy rainfall this year.
Kim Min-gi, head of the Kia Motors Union Gwangju Branch, said, "Children who are living diligently without losing their dreams despite difficult circumstances are the driving force that will lead the future local community, so I hope this small help will be of some assistance."
In response, Kim Eun-young, head of the Green Umbrella Gwangju Regional Headquarters, expressed gratitude, saying, "We appreciate the Kia Motors Union, a leading local company, for actively participating in support for children at the end of the year."
