2023 US Art Festival Grand Prize and Awards in 21 Categories
Minjeong Lee, a first-year student in the Department of Beauty Industry at Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) Future Convergence College, recently won the overall grand prize (Busan Mayor's Award) at the 2023 Busan 美 Art Festival Busan Mayor's Cup Beauty Skills Competition.

Students Minjeong Lee, Chunhye Park, and Eunji Lee received awards in the micropigment categories, including Grand Champion, Grand Prize, Gold Prize, and Silver Prize. Other notable awards included Silver Prize in the Micropigment Scalp category awarded to Eunkyung Kim, Gold Prize in the Nail French Manicure category to Yeojeong Shim, Gold Prize in the Nail Salon Nail Art category to Juhee Hong, Gold Prize in the Hair Men's Hairstyle category to Misook Lee, Silver Prize in the Hair Sketch category to Yeoeun Kim, and Bronze Prize in the Skin Face Art Suji category to Jaenam Lee. A total of 21 categories were awarded in this competition.
The Department of Beauty Industry at Dongmyung University achieved award records across more than 70 categories in various beauty competitions throughout 2023. These outstanding achievements by the students demonstrate the high quality of education provided.
The 2023 Busan 美 Art Festival Busan Mayor's Cup Beauty Skills Competition was held at BEXCO from November 28 to 29.
