[Featured Stock] Saltwear Achieves Industry-First CXL Memory Operation Verification with Samsung-Red Hat... Technical Partnership Highlighted Upward

Saltware is gaining momentum. Following the news that Samsung Electronics succeeded in verifying the operation of next-generation interface Compute Express Link (CXL) memory in collaboration with Red Hat, Saltware, which has a technical partnership with Red Hat, is drawing attention.

As of 11:06 AM on the 27th, Saltware is trading at 1,322 KRW, up 3.85% compared to the previous day.

On this day, Samsung Electronics announced that it had succeeded in verifying CXL memory operation with Red Hat, the world's number one enterprise Linux company, for the first time in the industry. CXL is a next-generation interface designed to more efficiently utilize accelerators, DRAM, storage devices, and others used alongside CPUs in high-performance server systems.

Samsung Electronics optimized CXL memory for the enterprise Linux OS 'Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.3 (RHEL 9.3)' and completed operation verification such as memory recognition, reading, and writing in virtual machine (Red Hat KVM) and container environments (Red Hat Podman). With the verification of CXL memory operation, data center customers can now easily use Samsung's CXL memory without any separate software changes.

Samsung Electronics and Red Hat also plan to publish the 'RHEL 9.3 CXL Memory Activation Guide' to enable customers to build high-performance computing systems using Samsung's CXL memory on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Previously, in May last year, Samsung Electronics and Red Hat announced mutual cooperation on software technology in the next-generation memory field.

Meanwhile, Saltware is a company that provides cloud system construction services and infrastructure construction and operation services. In 2022, it established a Red Hat specialized organization and is building PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SDN (Software Defined Network) for medical foundations and institutions. Saltware has a technical service partnership with Red Hat.

According to the company, Saltware's Private Cloud Service Team consists of the best domestic technical experts not only in Red Hat-based OS and middleware but also in SDDC-based Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, Ceph storage, and automation solutions.
