Nudge Healthcare Partners with Happiness Alliance and Milal Welfare Foundation for Challenge
Nudge Healthcare’s B2B platform for health management companies, ‘Teamwork,’ has recently gained attention by consecutively carrying out projects supporting children facing food insecurity and children with disabilities. It is praised for creating a win-win effect of health and donation in daily life by helping children through rewards earned by walking.
A representative example is the ‘Happy Box Walking Challenge’ recently planned in collaboration with the social contribution network Happy Alliance. Held over seven days from the 11th to the 17th, about 190,000 people participated, achieving a cumulative total of 13 billion steps. Participants challenged themselves to walk 6,000 steps daily and 40,000 steps cumulatively. For every group of 10 participants who succeeded in the daily mission, one ‘Happy Box’ was donated to children at risk of food insecurity. The Happy Box consisted of daily necessities, health foods, nutritious snacks, and hygiene products donated by member companies of Happy Alliance.
In August, Teamwork and Happy Alliance also conducted the ‘Happy Two Meals Walking Challenge for Children at Risk of Food Insecurity.’ At that time, a total of 214,000 people participated. They accumulated 14.5 billion steps and donated over 26,000 lunchboxes to children at risk of food insecurity.
From the 18th to the 24th of this month, Teamwork held the ‘6,000 Steps for Children Left Alone in the World!’ challenge in collaboration with the Milal Welfare Foundation. This challenge was organized to convey warm hearts to children with disabilities under protection as the year-end approached.
Notably, through this challenge, participants could join the Milal Welfare Foundation’s ‘Support Campaign for Children with Disabilities under Protection.’ This campaign supports children with disabilities left behind due to abuse, birth to single parents, and other reasons. It provides regular check-ups and medical expenses to help with disability and disease treatment and healthy living, as well as daily necessities such as diapers, special formula, baby bottles, and wet wipes.
Jungsin Park, CEO of Nudge Healthcare, said, “Through the walking challenges, users were able to manage their health in daily life and provide help to marginalized neighbors in need of social attention. We plan to continuously develop challenges that can create a society where we live together.”
