Caspion Starts EV Wiring Harness Business... "Acquisition of Woori Tech Vina"

Kespion, a smartphone antenna manufacturer, announced on the 26th that it will acquire Ourtechvina, a smart device manufacturer based in Vietnam, to diversify its business.

Kespion is a specialized company in mobile phone antennas. Through the acquisition of Ourtechvina, it will additionally secure precision processing technology for smart device sheets and films. Furthermore, by internalizing the process of its core business, wireless communication antennas, it will gain cost competitiveness and establish a foothold for the production of next-generation EV (electric vehicle) electronic cables, laying the foundation to accelerate its EV electronic cable business.

On the same day, Kespion signed the acquisition agreement, signaling its entry into the EV electronic cable business. It also plans to continue sustained investments for multifaceted business restructuring. In addition, while securing core technology, it is already undergoing IATF 16949 certification necessary for the electronic components business.

To this end, Kespion has secured sufficient funds for new business entry by selling its Incheon factory. It has focused on entering the battery and EV electronic cable businesses to strengthen its existing antenna business competitiveness and secure future growth engines.

Meanwhile, Kespion plans not to be satisfied with this year's sales growth but to diversify its sales composition into three main pillars: antennas, batteries, and EV electronic cables, aiming to achieve sales of 100 billion KRW by 2025. By growing into a stable mid-sized company generating steady profits, it will strive to enhance shareholder value through continuous growth following management stabilization.
