Lim Hyung-joo, Lifetime Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in the UK... "Will Serve as a Cultural Bridge Between Korea and the UK"

On the 26th, his agency DGNcom announced that Lim Hyung-joo was selected as a lifetime fellow by the Royal Society of Arts and received royal endorsement.

The Royal Society of Arts, established in 1754 and approaching its 270th anniversary next year, is the world's most prestigious arts society. It selects members through a rigorous screening process from individuals who have achieved outstanding international accomplishments in manufacturing, commerce, and the humanities and arts, and who wish to join. Notable fellows include Adam Smith, Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, Marie Curie, and Karl Marx.

Lim Hyung-joo will be entitled to add 'FRSA' (Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts) after his name.

DGNcom explained that Lim Hyung-joo received high recognition for his successful music career leading up to his 25th anniversary of domestic debut and 20th anniversary of global debut this year, his long-term social service and charitable activities through the arts, and his dedication to nurturing future talents as a chair professor in vocal music at the Rome Civic Arts University.

Lim Hyung-joo expressed, "It is even more meaningful and honorable that my approval to join the Royal Society of Arts as a lifetime fellow and the royal endorsement came in the year marking the 140th anniversary of Korea-UK diplomatic relations. I will continue to serve as a bridge connecting Korean and British culture and arts, and as a scholar, I will further research and strive diligently."
