'Nasol' 15th Term Gwangsu, Civilian Lawsuit Due to Provincial Government Damage

"'Nasol' Meeting Eavesdropped at Restaurant"
"Curious About Sentence Length"... Expressing Anger

Gwangsu (a pseudonym), a contestant on the reality entertainment program 'I am SOLO' (hereinafter referred to as NaSSol) aired on ENA and SBS Plus, has filed a lawsuit against a civilian for eavesdropping.

On the 23rd, Gwangsu revealed on his Instagram, "On December 8th, there was a NaSSol gathering at a restaurant in Gangnam. According to a tip, the people sitting next to our table eavesdropped on our conversation and posted the content as it was on an internet cafe called 'Yeosi'."

He continued, "Isn't eavesdropping and wiretapping crossing the line? Were you that curious about the conversations of NaSSol contestants? And was our conversation socially important enough to be disclosed on the internet?" expressing his anger.

Gwangsu added, "All CCTV footage has been secured. Under the Communications Privacy Protection Act, there is no fine provision for eavesdropping, and the minimum sentence starts from one year imprisonment. It is a crime with a very bad nature. If the listening and disclosure are combined, there are multiple charges. I am curious about the sentencing," and posted a photo of the complaint.

Finally, Gwangsu concluded, "If not careful, it could lead to imprisonment, so we must defend well. Those who crossed the line will face legal action," and apologized for posting such a message on Christmas, wishing everyone a happy year-end.
