Yoon Jae-ok, Floor Leader of the People Power Party and Acting Party Leader, emphasized on the 24th, "As the Acting Party Leader, I recommended Han Dong-hoon as the Emergency Response Committee Chairperson through a broad opinion-gathering process over the past 10 days and reorganized the party as quickly as possible."

In a text message sent to responsible party members on the same day, Acting Leader Yoon stated, "As the Floor Leader, I upheld the sound fiscal policy of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration and facilitated the bipartisan agreement on next year's budget."

Acting Leader Yoon has been serving as Acting Party Leader since former leader Kim Ki-hyun resigned on the 13th. After gathering opinions within the party through a members' meeting, a joint meeting of party committee chairpersons, and a meeting with senior advisors, he nominated former Minister Han Dong-hoon as the Emergency Response Committee Chairperson. If approved in the National Committee vote on the 26th, the 'Han Dong-hoon Emergency Response Committee' will be launched.
