From the 26th, 1247.7 won → 1115 won, 132 won reduction
The ex-factory price of ‘Daeseon Soju’ is set to decrease.
Daeseon Joojo announced on the 23rd that it will lower the ex-factory prices of its main products, ‘Daeseon’ and ‘Siwon,’ starting from the 26th, ahead of the National Tax Service’s introduction of the standard sales ratio effective January 1 next year.
Daeseon Joojo had planned to reduce product ex-factory prices from the 1st of next month following the National Tax Service’s decision on the standard sales ratio on the 17th, but to actively participate in the government’s price stabilization policy, it decided to lower the ex-factory prices of its main products by 10.6% starting from the 26th.
Accordingly, the ex-factory prices of Daeseon and Siwon will drop by 132 won, from the previous 1,247.7 won to 1,115 won, a 10.6% decrease.
Daeseon Joojo stated, “All employees empathize with the government’s price stabilization policy and decided to adjust the ex-factory prices to ease the burden on consumers who are struggling due to prolonged high inflation, even if only slightly.”
The National Tax Service announced on the 17th that it will apply the standard sales ratio, a tax discount rate that reduces the tax base for domestic distilled liquor, to shipments starting from the 1st of next month.
