Milanonna's 'K-Fashion Shopping Tips' for Foreign Tourists

The Korea Tourism Organization announced that it released the video 'Add to Kart,' produced in collaboration with fashion designer Jang Myung-sook, on the organization's YouTube channel (@imagineyourkorea) on the 22nd. Designer Jang is the first Korean fashion consultant to study in Milan and recently worked as the YouTuber 'Milanonna,' with over 930,000 subscribers.

Based on her extensive experience in the European and other overseas fashion industries, Jang Myung-sook provides various insights into shopping for visitors to Korea.

First, she shops for cost-effective socks in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, shares information about shopping for jeans and getting quick hem repairs, and purchases vintage scarves at the Busan International Market, a hub of the fashion industry. In addition to various shopping tips, she also introduces the immediate refund post-tax-free service implemented for the convenience of foreign shoppers, offering a wide range of fashion shopping advice.

Kim Kyung-joo, head of the Korea Tourism Organization's London office, said, "Interest in K-fashion and beauty in Europe, including the UK, has recently expanded to the retro sector. We hope that advice from Korean fashion industry experts who understand consumer preferences well will become a new guide for foreign tourists."
